International Course Director
Michael Tamvakis has over 20 years of experience in commodities, derivatives, shipping, trade, and finance. He has lectured on international commodity trade, commodity derivatives and shipping economics. He is the Director of MSc in Energy, Trade & Finance, and Professor of Commodity Economics and Finance at the Cass Business School, City University London. He is also a Visiting Professor at the HEC (Département des Hautes Études Commerciales) at the University of Geneva, where he teaches at the MA in International Trading, Commodity Finance and Shipping.
